What is concierge medicine, and how does it benefit me?

Concierge medicine is a personalized healthcare model that provides direct access to your physician, with an emphasis on high-quality care and convenience. With fewer patients, we can focus more on preventive care, same-day appointments, and proactive management of your health. This model ensures you have more time with your doctor and better access to resources when you need them most.

What is the mission of your practice?

My mission is to provide personalized care that focuses on you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. I believe in building long-term relationships with both you and your family, offering care that spans generations. This allows me to understand your unique health needs more deeply, making my approach to disease prevention and wellness more effective. By being there for you and your family, I am able to provide insights that go beyond individual visits and foster continuity in your healthcare.

How is your practice different from traditional practices?

Unlike typical practices that may see many patients a day, I limit my patient load to ensure you receive the time and attention you deserve. Plus, our communication is far greater than a typical doctor-patient, with dedicated cell phone access and email to ensure I'm always available when you need care.

Do I still need health insurance if I join your practice?

Yes, I recommend maintaining health insurance for coverage of services outside of my practice, such as specialist visits or hospital stays. Your membership fee covers the time and services within my office, but it does not replace your health insurance. Health insurance also covers any testing and other services performed outside my office, such as laboratory testing, x-rays, CT, MRI, physical therapy, et cetera, in addition to specialist care, and visits to the emergency room/hospitalization.

What happens if I need emergency care?

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately. Once you’re in a safe situation, feel free to contact us—we can coordinate with emergency staff and help guide your care. For non-emergent concerns, you can contact us directly, and we’ll work to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

What’s covered by my annual membership fee?

Your membership fee covers a wide range of services within our practice, including unlimited visits, preventative care, personalized health plans, and expedited appointments. Any specialized services like lab work, imaging, or surgical procedures will be billed separately by the respective providers.

Can I see a specialist or surgeon?

It is challenging to get timely appointments with specialists these days. I will do everything in my power to communicate with my colleagues in an effort to get you seen promptly. 

Do I have to use your services to justify my annual fee?

Yes, the annual fee covers membership in the practice, whether you need to use services or not. However, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the preventive services and personalized care offered to maximize your health and wellness.

What if I want to enroll in your practice later?

Because I limit the number of patients in my practice to ensure quality care, once the practice reaches capacity, I will offer a waiting list for future enrollment. 

How do I pay for the annual membership?

Membership fees can be paid by ACH, personal check, or credit card through Hint (membership platform).

How do I contact you outside of office hours?

With concierge services, you have direct access to me via cell phone and email, even after office hours.
